As a lifelong resident of the 12th District—before, during, and after my tenure in the New York City Council—I have seen firsthand the decline of community unity, cleanliness, and safety. We need bold leadership that won’t hesitate to work with the NYPD to combat crime, foster unity between businesses and residents, and collaborate with schools and community organizations to protect and uplift our children.

I have delivered real results on these issues before, and I am ready to do it again. It’s time to bring common sense back to the City Council with strong, unwavering leadership. Who Am I

Andy King: A Proven Leader, A Voice for the 12th District

Andy King is a lifelong resident of the 12th District and a dedicated public servant. As a former New York City Council Member, Community Organizer for 1199/GNYHA Healthcare Education Project, and co-founder of the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program alongside his wife, Neva Shillingford-King, he has spent his life advocating for the Bronx community.

Rooted in his faith in Jesus Christ, Andy King’s commitment to service is driven by his dedication to the Word and his deep love for his neighbors. His choice to run comes from the many requests from 12th district residents for the need of his past leadership with NYPD to reduce crime and end illegal drug use on White Plains Road. Clean up the community with his “OPERATION CLEANER STREETS”. His support to protect the 12th district senior citizens community quality of life. His establishment of his 12th district initiative “OPERATION CLEANER STREETS'“.
